I love making enigmatic pictures that tell a story but leave a lot to your imagination.
The purpose of the pictures is to create a certain mood and to arouse emotions.
Viewers can fantasise their own tales. Photographic reality is an illusion.
For me, pictures need to be more then just purely the registration of what's in front of the lens.

My name is Johan Hannes, I'm a photographer living in Belgium.
